Sooooo…. About yesterday, and the lack of DRS… I had plans to post, but sometimes life just gets in the way. I was at a market for over 12 hours last Saturday, and my body could not take that. Especially not my back.

So yesterday I could barely walk, I walked like an old lady. That was not a good day at all, so I could not post – even if I really wanted to. I was mostly laying on the couch and tried to survive the day. 😂 And last week was pretty chaotic over all, so my brain was not with me at all tbh. I had to much going on, so I just crashed. And that’s okay, I’m only human. 🤷‍♀️

But don’t worry – the Nook isn’t going anywhere. I just need a little breathing room.

We’ve officially left the shallow end. These books bring darker themes, messier relationships, and characters who make “morally grey” feel suspiciously generous. 😏 Now we are moving towards the darkness, and I really hope you will follow me all the way! Because you have no idea how nice the dark really is.

I have read all of these 4 books, and I loved everyone. Does It Hurt? will forever be my Roman Empire. I think about that book almost every day, and I read it summer last year. I think it will stay with me for the rest of my life. 😂 I really hope you will enjoy some of these too. 😍

I had a reading slump, it was brutal. I could not just sit down and find peace in reading. I don’t know if it is because I started school, I mean – it could be. I was tired most evenings too, so I fell asleep kinda early almost every night. 😅 But I’m now out of my reading slump and that makes me soooo happy! Because reading before I sleep is my way of winding down. And I really need it now.

– Yes, this one I love. A true man would burn the world for her! ✅

Forbidden love
– This one is enjoyable to a point, I don’t want it too much – but also not too little. If you know what I mean. 🙈 ✅

Revenge dating
– Haha this one tho, this red flag is my green flag. I really love this one, it always get out of hand and there is usually so fucking much going on at the end. I usually get 4/5 of my pulse-rating. Sometimes I forget to breath. ✅

Back into the darkness we go — questionable men, questionable decisions and absolutely no regrets. 🖤

Do we love a really possessive man in books? Yes, we do. But why do we do that? I have no idea, it just scratches my head – I think we all giggle like schoolgirls when he says “She’s Mine.” 🤭 I know I do, I cannot help it. It just comes out, it doesn’t matter if I’m at home, at work or at school – it just slips. If my man would be that jealous as the men in our books – I would probably just laugh at him and tell him to work on himself. But in books? Oh yes, that SCRATCHES my brain. 😏

So naturally, I had to make a list with some of my favorite possessive book boyfriends that I would probably not say “no” to. And apperantly my list is long, so it will have to be multiple parts. Sorry, not sorry. 😂

I will try to not spoil the books while spiralling on about my boyfriends, but I can’t promise it. 🙈

Of course we start of with one of my first book boyfriends. 😏

We are back again, because apperently 6 books wasn’t enough. But also, it doesn’t matter that our TBR:s are growing – right?
I don’t at least. But I have no shelf-control so that’s that. 💅 And this time the genres are…. Many? I don’t even know, I just want to spread some reading-joy!

Out of these books, I have read Feathers So Vicious, Coraline and Harry Potter (the whole series is autumn, so just read it).
I am gonna read Ghost Dick this autumn, doing a buddyread with one of my best friends. 😍 Need to read Nights of Obediance, I love me some good dark romance!

I think we all have some autumn feelings now, at least I have. And with that, now I just want to get comfy under a blanket in my rocking chair with some candles and a cup of tea. 🍂🍵
With autumn, I’m craving dark romance and fantasy.
I’m continuing my TOG journey. I have abbout 30 % left and I don’t want it to end… But fortunately I have Crescenty City left, and I am so ready for those! I know I will not be able to finish whole CC before Acotar 6 comes out, so I will probably avoid social media in the beginning. 😂
