I’m Nattha – a book nerd with a particular weakness for dark romance, romantasy, dark fantasy, villains, and highly questionable taste when it comes to fictional men, with absolutely zero plans to do anything about it. 🚩 The more, the merrier – or whatever they say? 😏
Expect reviews, book recommendations, way too long TBR lists, and probably a whole lot of opinions about men I would 100% have blocked immediately if they existed in real life. 😂
THE READER BEHIND THE BLOG
I’ve been reading since I was a kid, although reading has come and gone in phases over the years. But last year, I happened to pick up Lights Out – and it turned out to be the beginning of my descent into the dark romance rabbit hole. After Butcher & Blackbird, there was no going back. The combination of darkness, completely questionable characters, and twisted humor? Apparently, that’s my thing. 😂
My favorite books are the ones that make me feel EVERYTHING. I want to laugh, get pissed off, have to put the book down just to stare blankly into space for a while – and preferably be emotionally destroyed by the time I’ve read the last page. A book that leaves me with a minor existential crisis afterward? 10/10.
I also love everything that comes with reading. Annotating books together with my book besties is probably one of my favorite things. There are few things better than opening an old book, finding our comments in the margins, and getting to laugh at exactly how unhinged we apparently were the first time we read it.
I also stumbled upon BookTok completely by accident. I was innocently scrolling through TikTok, a Swedish BookToker showed up – and apparently, that was all the algorithm needed. Now I’m here. There was no escape.
When I’m not reading? I’m probably playing The Sims, doomscrolling for way too long, or obsessing over some book-related project that no reasonable person ever asked for. Like making spreadsheets for my physical bookshelf.
